Your Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
Backend Development
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core).
• Work with relational databases, ensuring optimized queries and robust data integrity.
• Configure and maintain rulesets and governance policies for autonomous AI development agents, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the delivery lifecycle.
Code Quality & Best Practices
• Apply SOLID principles and design clean, maintainable software architectures (Hexagonal, Onion, Clean Architecture).
• Design, implement, and maintain unit, integration, and performance/load tests.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Apply DDD principles to model complex business domains.
Collaboration & Agile Development
• Work closely with front‑end engineers to design efficient and scalable APIs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
DevOps, Cloud & Architecture
• Containerize backend services using Docker.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health using logging, metrics, and tracing; drive performance and reliability improvements.
• Ensure backend systems follow security best practices.
• Contribute to the design and operation of highly available, scalable, distributed architectures.
• Work within cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated with new backend technologies and emerging engineering practices.
• Propose improvements to system architecture and development workflows.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable backend services.
• Strong hands‑on experience with unit, integration, and load testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude‑Code), including configuration and rule management.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Languages
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• French language proficiency is a plus.
(Interview will be conducted in English.)
Communication
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Knowledge and development of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern architectures.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools and AI agent configuration.
• React and NoSQL database knowledge are a plus.
Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion.
Our Recruitment Process
15‑minute introductory call with our Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Technical interview(s) focused on backend development and engineering fundamentals.
Architecture‑oriented discussion with a Senior/Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager.
Final cultural and alignment conversation.
