📌 Role Context
Nextlane is building a new Inside Sales Business Unit in Porto, dedicated to the remote selling of digital and SaaS solutions for automotive dealers and automotive professionals across Europe.
As ISR Team Leader, you will play a key role in the structuring, leadership, and scaling of this new BU.
You will be responsible for:
managing and coaching a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR Level 1 and Level 2),
driving commercial performance (pipeline, ARR, conversions, velocity, call volume, number of meetings, etc.),
ensuring excellence in inbound and outbound execution,
acting as a key bridge between Demand Generation, Field Sales, and GTM leadership.
This role is designed for a player-coach profile: a manager with strong field experience, who has already closed deals in remote sales and knows how to turn an ISR team into a predictable revenue engine.
🎯 Main Responsibilities
Team Management & Coaching
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives.
Ensure fast and efficient onboarding and ramp-up of new hires.
Run regular rituals: 1:1s, pipeline reviews, call listening sessions, and hands-on coaching.
Coach ISR on discovery, qualification, objection handling, and closing.
Build and sustain a demanding, positive, and accountable performance culture.
Performance Management & KPIs
Own team results across:
activity volumes (calls, emails, sequences, meetings),
pipeline generated and managed,
revenue signed (ARR / NRR) within the ISR scope.
Track and optimize conversion rates (MQL → SQL → Opportunity → Closed Won).
Continuously reduce time-to-close through better prioritization and follow-up discipline.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Process, Methodology & Execution
Deploy and enforce a structured sales methodology (BANT / MEDDIC-inspired).
Guarantee high-quality discovery, qualification, and deal control.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of ISR scripts, pitches, cadences, and processes.
Ensure flawless CRM usage (Salesforce) and excellent data quality.
Actively contribute to building a scalable Inside Sales operating model.
Anticipate and provide the necessary inputs to fuel the team (targeting, lists, segmentation, etc.).
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Demand Generation and Marketing to optimize lead quality and follow-up.
Align with Field Sales teams on scope definition, coverage rules, and handover processes.
Share structured feedback on messaging, objections, ICP alignment, and market signals.
Act as a key relay between the ISR team and GTM leadership.

🕵️ Profile We’re Looking For
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing Inside Sales / ISR teams, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
Proven experience in remote sales (inbound and outbound).
Previous experience as an ISR, BDR, or AE is a strong plus.
Skills & Leadership Mindset
Strong sales DNA with a player-coach mindset.
Solid mastery of performance drivers: activity, pipeline, conversions, velocity.
Ability to coach on discovery, qualification, and closing (not only on activity).
Demanding yet supportive leadership style, strongly results-oriented.
Structured, analytical, and data-driven approach.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
High sense of ownership and accountability.
Languages
Native French is mandatory.
Professional English required (international environment).
Any additional European language is a plus.
Tools & Technical Skills
Strong mastery of a CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred).
Experience with Sales Engagement tools (Lemlist or equivalent).
Comfortable with dashboards, KPIs, and pipeline analysis.
Strong appetite for digital and SaaS environments.
